Shangilia

WOW!!!! Today was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I had such a wonderful time at Shangilia. The kids were so cute and receptive toward us all. I didn’t know what to expect, but they greeted us with songs, acrobatics, and dance. I had never seen anything like this before. They are so commited to what they do and I was so moved by how they did everything with their whole bodies. I met so many precious children and one of the most special moments was when we all sang the song “We are one” This song is so powerful it nearly moved me to tears. I just love these children. I wish that all my friends could meet these kids. I think everyone could learn a thing or two from these special people. Their energy, laughter, and openness are all contagious, and I’m learning so much from them. I’ve already made some special friends; Joyce, and Winnie. I can’t wait to see them all again. I’ll continue to write. Please continue to read.
